Arthur A. Foster, 65, of 1944 N. Spencer St., Indianapolis, was fatally stricken Saturday night at his cottage on Arrowhead Drive at Lake Holiday. The Fosters had the cottage the last three years and planned to move there permanently. He recently retired after 40 years as a railroader. He was a machinist for the Penn Central. Mr. Foster was a native and life resident of Indianapolis, born March 27, 1904 to John A. and Elizabeth M. Stumph Foster. He was married in Indianapolis on Nov. 30, 1933 to Dorothy R. Earnest, who survives. He was a member of Roberts Park United Methodist Church. Surviving besides his wife are a son, John Foster; a twin brother, James H. Foster of Harrison, Ohio, and four grandchildren. Funeral rites are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jordan Funeral Home in Indianapolis, where friends may call. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery there. – jlr
